Via Expresa Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa Expressway)

It will benefit over 2 million people.

Via Expresa Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa Expressway)

This project entails the construction of an elevated expressway spanning nearly 4 km, connecting the Costa Verde with the new terminal of the Jorge Chavez International Airport, which is expected to accommodate the needs of over 35 million passengers.

Thus, this mega-project will alleviate future traffic on Av. Santa Rosa generated by the new airport terminal, relieve congestion in the urban areas of the districts of Callao, and revitalize Av. Santa Rosa / Av. Juan Pablo II at an urban level, transforming it into a boulevard that will enhance the quality of life for citizens of La Perla, Bellavista, and Callao.

Urban integration: improvements and benefits

Reduced travel time to the airport

37,000 m² of green spaces

4,478 m of bike lanes

10 playground and sports areas

720 lighting fixtures on the viaduct and street level

21 rest and commercial areas

6 ramps for direct integration with Callao

Approximately 8 km of noise barriers

Environmental and Social Management

At PMO Vias, we seek to integrate sustainability into all projects. We manage environmental and social impact assessments according to high international standards and incorporate the best engineering practices, aiming to effectively manage natural resources, minimize environmental impacts, and enhance the benefits for communities and users of the new road infrastructure.

Social Approach

Social management focuses on building trust through strong relationships and ongoing dialogue with the people involved in our projects. In this process, we identify key stakeholders, which allows us to effectively map stakeholders and update project social and land risks. Thus, we achieve incident and informed communication and participation regarding each scope or benefit of the project, as well as address the doubts and concerns of the population.

Foundations for Building Trust
  • Dialogue Construction
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Alliance Strengthening
  • Sustainability and Viability

WHAT IS AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT?

It is an environmental instrument that includes a description of the project's activities and the characteristics of the environment, the identification and characterization of environmental and social impacts, and establishes environmental management measures.
